The colour of the water is unreal!

Photos simply cannot capture how blue this water is. It looks digitally edited but it's 100% real. Took a long boat ride to see the submerged village — so surreal and emotional to imagine what was lost.

Highlight of our Hunza trip

Combined Attabad Lake with Hunza Valley in one trip. The lake is about 45 minutes from Karimabad on the KKH. Best visited in the morning before afternoon winds. Boat rides are very affordable.

One of Pakistan's most photogenic spots

As a photographer, I have been to many beautiful places but Attabad Lake's colour is like nothing I've seen. The rock formations in the background add drama to every shot. Magical.
