About this Place
Attabad Lake is a striking turquoise lake in the Hunza Valley, formed after a massive landslide in January 2010. The vivid blue-green water surrounded by towering mountains creates one of Pakistan's most dramatic landscapes. Boat rides and lakeside camping make it a popular stop on the Karakoram Highway.
