About this Place

The Faisal Mosque is the largest mosque in Pakistan and one of the largest in the world, with a capacity of 300,000 worshippers. Designed by Turkish architect Vedat Dalokay and funded by Saudi King Faisal bin Abdul Aziz, the mosque's unique tent-shaped shell without a traditional dome is a bold departure from conventional mosque architecture.
