About this Place
Mohenjo-daro is an archaeological site in Sindh, UNESCO-listed as one of the earliest major urban settlements in the world. Built around 2500 BCE during the Indus Valley Civilization, the site features remarkably sophisticated urban planning, including a grid layout, advanced drainage system, and multi-story buildings.
